Job summary

Sequoyah Electric is seeking an Electrical Service Operations Manager who will build and lead a high‑performing service division team, grow relationships with customers, and drive operational excellence across the service business. You will oversee revenue, profitability, and strategic initiatives to ensure sustainable growth.

You’ll manage diverse teams, implement process improvements, and partner with field and office staff to deliver safe, reliable service while expanding recurring revenue

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience within the electrical construction, electrical service, or maintenance industry.
• 10+ years of experience leading commercial service electricians, project managers, or service teams.
• Experience leading employees with diverse responsibilities across operations, project management, customer service, and business development.
• Demonstrated success managing revenue, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and departmental performance.
• Experience supporting estimating, proposals, sales efforts, and client relationship management.
• Experience utilizing service management software and business systems.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of project managers, service electricians, coordinators, and support staff.
• Drive business growth by building and maintaining customer relationships and identifying new opportunities.
• Oversee division revenue, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance.
• Ensure service work is delivered safely, efficiently, and professionally; improve responsiveness and customer experience.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and scalability across the division.
