Job summary

NewKey Consulting is partnering with a leading principal contractor delivering a major utilities infrastructure upgrade on the Central Coast, NSW. We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join the project team and play a key role in the successful delivery of meaningful infrastructure upgrades.

You will join a multidisciplinary team on site in the Central Coast, contributing to design reviews, procurement, and installation of HV/LV systems while ensuring safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and 2–4 years site engineering experience.
• Experience with HV/LV equipment installation and underground cable reticulation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in EIC design reviews and cross-discipline workshops.
• Undertake EIC procurement, supply chain and subcontractor administration.
• Coordinate electrical works, interfaces and underground services across civil and mechanical fronts.
• Provide technical advice across electrical design, procurement and project delivery.
• Attend FATs for major electrical equipment and prepare reports.
• Inspect incoming HV/LV equipment for compliance and handover readiness.
