Job summary

Australian Electoral Commission in Hervey Bay, Maryborough and surrounding Queensland locations is seeking multiple Service Support Officers to maintain the electoral roll and support delivery of electoral services. The role is part-time and may require full-time work during peak periods, with supervision of APS staff and collaboration with Project Officers under a DRO.

Responsibilities

Supervise Temporary Election Workforce (TEW) and assist in Outposted Centres under a Divisional Returning Officer.
Provide customer-focused services when required and support electoral events.
Contribute to enrolment administration and project work throughout the electoral cycle.
Respond to changing operational priorities and assist with event delivery during peak periods.
Collaborate with Project Officers and Service Officers to ensure smooth operations.
