Job summary

Regents Park OSHC is seeking enthusiastic Casual Educators to join our team located at St Bernardine’s Catholic Primary School. You’ll help create a safe, inclusive environment where children enjoy learning through play, exploration and daily activities in a supportive setting.

Our service supports up to 130 children daily with a caring, experienced team focused on growth, celebrations and community connections. Flexible hours and opportunities for professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
• Experience with play-based learning and child engagement is desirable.
• Knowledge of safety and wellbeing practices for children.

Located within the beautiful grounds of St Bernardine’s Catholic Primary School, our OSHC service has been proudly supporting local children and families for more than 20 years.

We’re looking for enthusiastic Casual Educators who want to make a real difference while having plenty of fun along the way!

We support up to 130 children each day, with a welcoming and experienced team who genuinely care about creating a positive experience for every child.

What you’ll be doing

As a Casual Educator, you’ll help create a place where children feel safe, included, heard and excited to come each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Build genuine and positive relationships with children
• Support children's wellbeing, confidence and development
• Create fun, engaging activities based on children's interests
• Encourage creativity, curiosity and independence
• Work alongside a supportive and experienced team
• Connect with families and contribute to a welcoming community
• Get involved in excursions, special events and Vacation Care adventures
• Bring your own ideas, personality and creativity to the service!

Job Requirements

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services (or other ACECQA-approved qualification) is desirable but not essential.
• Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
• A current QueenslandBlue Card(Working with Children Check)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A passion for working with children and contributing to their growth in a play-based setting
• Previous experience in OSHC or a similar environment (desirable)
