Job summary

Darra-Jindalee Catholic Parish OSHC in Darra, Brisbane, is seeking casual OSHC Educators to join our long-standing team. You’ll provide nurturing care, create a welcoming environment, and plan engaging activities for school-aged children in a play-based setting.

Qualifications are flexible; Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working toward it) is desirable. Queensland Blue Card is required prior to commencement and we offer above award rates and flexible shifts.

• Willingness to complete mandatory trainings (Geckko 1-2-3-4) as required.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or willing to obtain.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic OSHC Educators to join our team on a casual basis. Whether you are a qualified or working toward it, we would love to hear from you.

At Darra-Jindalee Catholic Parish OSHC, we provide Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care for up to 120 children. We work closely with families and the community to ensure children have the best possible experience while in our care.

Job Requirements

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential


• Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko 1-2 & 3-4).


• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)


• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment


• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire


• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
