Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare is seeking an OSHC Educator at St Mary MacKillop Catholic Primary School in Brisbane. You will provide nurturing care for children and help create engaging activities for Prep to Year 6 in a play-based environment.

We value a passionate team, safety, inclusive experiences, strong communication, and flexibility with afternoon availability. Queensland Blue Card checks are required as part of our commitment to child safety.

Qualifications

• Hold a Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA Equivalent).
• Holds a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• A passion for education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment.
• Effective workplace communication skills.
• Afternoon availability desirable.

Located on the grounds of St Mary MacKillop Catholic Primary School, our large and vibrant service has been supporting families for years with care for up to 164 children from Prep to Year 6. With a strong team culture and a welcoming, supportive atmosphere, we offer a wide range of fun and engaging experiences that extend children's interests - both planned and spontaneous!

Join a supportive team of 20 passionate educators and become part of a wider network of over 130 Catholic Early EdCare services across South East Queensland.

Job Requirements:

• Hold a Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA Equivalent) - a range of study areas may be recognised including, behavioural science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation, and human welfare studies.
