Job summary

Xavier Catholic College OSHC in Eli Waters, Hervey Bay, is seeking a casual Educator to join a caring team and provide before/after school and vacation care. Candidates with Diploma or Cert III in Children Services (or ACECQA equivalent) are encouraged to apply and may be working towards this qualification. Queensland Blue Card, First Aid and child safety training are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Cert III in Children Services (or ACECQA equivalent) or working towards is desirable.
• Completion of Child Safety Courses 1 & 2 (mandatory); Courses 3 & 4 highly regarded.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment.
• Strong oral and written communication within the workplace.

Xavier Catholic College OSHC is conveniently located on the grounds of Xavier Catholic College in Hervey Bay and provides care for up to 75 children during before school, after school, and vacation care.

We're looking for educators that either hold their Diploma or certificate III or may be working towards completing this and who are passionate about creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment where primary school-aged children can learn, grow and thrive.
