Job summary

Notre Dame College OSHC on the Sunshine Coast is seeking enthusiastic casual Educators to help build a new OSHC service from the ground up. You’ll work with children before and after school, creating a safe, inclusive space and delivering engaging activities.

Ideal candidates will hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services, have current First Aid/CPR, and a valid Blue Card. Flexible shifts and a supportive team await in Bells Creek.

Qualifications

• Hold Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or ACECQA approved equivalent (desirable).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Blue Card (Working with Children Check) current in Queensland.
• Knowledge of National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place framework.
• Some experience in education and care of children preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication in the workplace.
• Completion of Child Safety Courses 1 & 2 (mandatory); Courses 3 & 4 highly regarded.

An exciting opportunity has arrived on the Sunshine Coast — Notre Dame College OSHC in Bells Creek is a brand new service, and we're looking for enthusiastic and caring casual Educators to help us build something truly special from the ground up.

Located within the grounds of a brand new school, our service offers a dedicated OSHC space close to key school facilities and a playground, providing before and after school care for up to 60 children. This is a rare and rewarding opportunity to join a growing community from the very beginning — helping to shape the culture, environment, and experiences that children and families will cherish for years to come.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator…

No two days are the same at Notre Dame College OSHC! You'll play a key role in creating a positive and engaging experience for children before and after school. Your day may include:

• Providing warm, nurturing care for children across before and after school care

Job Requirements

• Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or an ACECQA approved equivalent — desirable but not essential
