Zusammenfassung

Marymount OSHC, operated by the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane, is seeking a Casual Educator to support before/after school and vacation care on the Gold Coast. You will engage children with play‑based learning, lead hands‑on activities, and collaborate with the service coordinator to deliver safe, high‑quality care.

Requirements include a Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards), a current Blue Card, and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) per ACECQA guidelines.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Passion for education and care of school aged children in a play‑based environment.
• Knowledge of NQF/My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework (or ability to acquire).
• Effective oral and written communication in the workplace.

Working alongside our Service Coordinator, you’ll lead exciting, hands‑on activities that spark creativity and support children’s learning journeys.

About Marymount OSHC We are situated at the top of the school grounds, within the school basketball/sports building. In this purpose‑built space we care for up to 105 children in before school, after school and vacation care.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play‑based environment
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
• Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
