Job summary

Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane is seeking a Casual Educator for St Thomas Outside School Hours Care in Camp Hill. You will support primary school-aged children before and after school and during vacation care, providing a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment.

If you are enthusiastic and energetic about supporting children's growth, join our team and contribute to meaningful activities, while enjoying flexible shifts and opportunities to work across CEEC’s services.

Qualifications

• Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) desired, but not essential.
• Current Blue Card required to work with children.
• Understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place, and relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

• Showering kids with nurturing care.
• Creating a safe and welcoming space for children.
• Crafting exciting activities for all ages.
• Building strong team bonds within the OSHC team.
• Excursions and on-site/out-of-school activities to engage children.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a Casual Educator at St Thomas Outside School Hours Carein Camp Hill.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and stimulating environment for primary school-aged children during before school care, after school care, and vacation care programs for up to 105 children.

Located within St Thomas' Primary School, our OSHC offers easy access to various facilities, including an outdoor multi-purpose court, indoor hall, grassed oval, and playgrounds. As a part of our team, you will contribute to a safe and fun environment that meets the diverse needs of children, families, and staff.
