Job summary

Glenreagh Preschool is a not-for-profit community-based service in rural NSW serving around 20 children daily. We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to join our team for Tuesday to Thursday during NSW school terms.

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, have current First Aid, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and mandatory safety training, plus two strong references.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
• Current First Aid Certificate in an Education and Care Setting including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
• Current National Police Check
• Current Child Protection Training
• Completed Mandatory Child Safety Training
• Two current and relevant early childhood references

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team
• Be the responsible person when Director is absent
• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication
• Maintain knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Understand the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
• Experience with children aged 3 to 5 years
• Observe, document, and assess children’s learning and development
• Complete learning cycles and educational documentation
• Plan for and support an inclusive learning environment
