Job summary

Crayons Kindy in NSW is seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator to join our warm team in a full-time maternity leave position, with potential for ongoing permanent employment for the right candidate.

We cater to 30 preschoolers aged 3–6 and value relationships, a nurturing learning environment, and high-quality EYLF-aligned education. The successful applicant will hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and meet NSW Working with Children checks.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required or willingness to obtain.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• Child Protection training completed.
• Knowledge of Child Safety awareness and mandatory reporting.
• National Child Safety Training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality education and care for children aged 3–6 years.
• Build meaningful relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with team to plan and deliver EYLF-aligned activities.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated Diploma Qualified Educator to join our warm and supportive team in a full-time maternity leave position, with the potential for ongoing permanent employment for the right candidate.

Our boutique early learning service caters for 30 children aged 3–6 years, where we pride ourselves on building meaningful relationships with children, families, and each other. We are committed to providing a nurturing, engaging, and high-quality educational program that inspires a love of learning.

About You

You are a passionate early childhood professional who:

• Holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Has experience working with preschool-aged children.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Is committed to providing high-quality education and care.
• Has a sound knowledge of Child Safe Standards, child protection responsibilities, and children's health and wellbeing.
• Is professional, reliable, positive, and flexible.
• Works collaboratively as part of a supportive team while also showing initiative.
• Builds respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.

Essential Requirements
