Journey Early Learning Parap is opening a new 98‑place centre in November 2026 and seeks an Educational Leader to shape early learning practice from day one. You’ll partner with the Centre Manager and founding team to embed high‑quality pedagogy, mentor educators, and establish a culture of quality, reflection and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor level Early Childhood Education and Care qualification is required.
• Strong understanding of pedagogy, programming, and the EYLF is essential.
• Previous Educational Leader experience is highly regarded.
• Confidence mentoring educators at all career stages and driving quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and embed high‑quality pedagogical practice across the centre.
• Mentor and coach educators in programming, planning, and documentation.
• Support reflective practice aligned with the EYLF and NQS.
• Build educator confidence, capability, and consistency.
• Model best practice through active involvement on the floor.
• Guide continuous quality improvement and educational outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Centre Manager to establish a strong culture from day one.
