Job summary

Journey Early Learning Parap is seeking a passionate Educational Leader to join our new 98-place centre opening in November 2026. You'll lead pedagogy, mentor educators, and establish a culture of quality from day one, working closely with the Centre Manager and founding team.

You'll support reflective practice, embed high-quality early childhood programs, and build confident educators across the service, creating strong relationships with children, families and staff.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor level in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Strong understanding of pedagogy, programming, and EYLF.
  • Experience as Educational Leader (highly regarded).
  • Confidence mentoring educators at all stages of their professional journey.
  • Experience driving quality improvement and educational outcomes.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Leadership style grounded in trust and respect.
  • Passion for building a positive and high-performing team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and embed high-quality pedagogical practice across the centre.
  • Mentor and coach educators in programming, planning, and documentation.

About the Role

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Educational Leader to join Journey Early Learning Parap, our newest purpose‑built centre opening in November 2026.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape educational excellence from the very beginning. Working closely with the Centre Manager and founding team, you'll lead pedagogy, mentor educators, and establish a culture of quality, reflection, and continuous improvement.

We're looking for a leader who is passionate about building educator capability, creating strong teams, and fostering an environment where children, families, and educators thrive. As a visible and trusted mentor, you'll play a key role in developing confident educators and embedding high‑quality practice across the service.

Key Responsibilities
