Job summary

YMCA Queensland is seeking an Educational Leader to guide the Outside School Hours Care team at The Gap on a permanent part-time basis. You will shape engaging programs, coach educators, and ensure inclusive, child-centred learning that meets high care standards.

You’ll oversee program quality, collaborate with families and schools, and foster a positive team culture while maintaining compliance and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of the approved learning framework.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

• Ensuring all programs meet and exceed compliance requirements while maintaining the highest standards of care.
