Job summary

Goodstart Mackay - Bridge Road is seeking an Educational Leader to observe, review, and continuously enhance educational programs, guiding EYLF implementation and strengthening practice with the centre team.

You will collaborate with Educators and centre leaders to lead change, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality learning experiences for children, with opportunities for professional development in a supportive, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood or ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
• Current QLD Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead change in educational practice within the centre.
• Observe, review and enhance educational programs across age groups.
• Guide the application of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Pay: $41.74 - $43 p/h (depending on qualification & experience) + $2.68 Educational Leader Allowance + Super

As an Educational Leader at Goodstart, you'll collaborate with Educators in your centre to observe, review, and continuously enhance the educational programs offered to children. You'll deepen the team's understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework. Working closely with the centre leadership team, you'll lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice.

• Centrally located and handy to City, Schools, Base Hospital and Airport - a hop skip and jump
• Twin building 105 place centre accomodating children from 6 weeks to 5 years

You’ll need:

• Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
