Job summary

Guardian Mount Barker is seeking an Educational Leader to shape and guide educational practice across the centre, working with a leadership team to coach Educators and Teachers, strengthen curriculum and pedagogy, and create meaningful learning experiences for every child.

You will be supported by a Quality and Curriculum Team and a connected Educational Leader Network to share ideas, reflect, and grow your impact.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education or approved equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and approved learning frameworks.
• Experience guiding, coaching or mentoring Educators and Teachers.
• Confidence supporting curriculum, planning, documentation and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and strengthen educational practice across the centre.
• Coach, mentor and build the capability of Educators and Teachers.
• Inspire high-quality curriculum, pedagogy and inclusive practice.
• Support teams to bring Thrive and To Be Me to life.
• Guide reflective practice, planning and meaningful documentation.
• Contribute to the centre’s Quality Improvement Plan.
• Build trusted relationships with children, families and your team.
