Job summary

Sunshine Kids is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to step into a leadership role as Educational Leader. The role guides the team, upholds high-quality standards and supports the centre director.

The successful candidate will lead a play-based curriculum and ensure strong community and family engagement. You will bring a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent), at least two years as an ECT and two years as Educational Leader, plus NSW Working with

Qualifications

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
Minimum 2 years as an Early Childhood Teacher.
Minimum 2 years as Educational Leader.
Proven experience with the NQF/ EYLF assessment process and achieving at least Meeting National Quality Standard.
Strong leadership to mentor educators and guide curriculum development.
Excellent time management and organisational skills; team-first mindset.
Current NSW Working with Children Check.
Current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis certifications.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the educator team in designing and implementing an engaging, play-based curriculum.
Maintain high compliance standards aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLF.
Manage programming, documentation and time to support seamless room operations.
Foster collaborative relationships with families, staff and the wider community.
