Guppy’s Early Learning Centre Kingston is seeking an enthusiastic Educational Leader/2IC for a permanent part-time role. You will work with qualified early learning professionals to provide high-quality care and promote children’s learning, with opportunities for professional growth, paid programming, and development.
You will guide educators in applying the Early Years Learning Framework and Framework for School Age Care, ensuring developmentally appropriate programs and reflective practice.
At Guppy’s Early Learning Centre, we believe in providing personalised service that suits the unique needs of the children and families we care for. Our programs strongly emphasise play-based learning while recognising the importance of developing emotional, social, and communicative skills early in life. We recognise that responsive, meaningful, and respectful interactions are the foundation of quality education. We believe our role as an early childhood provider is to nurture children’s passion for learning and give them the opportunity to explore the world around them.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable Educational Leader/2IC who wants to join our supportive team at our Kingston centre. In this role, you will work with our team of qualified early learning professionals to provide high-quality care for children, promote their learning and help them to develop key skills for the future. We are looking for a dedicated, driven individual to fill this permanent part-time position involving training and educational leadership opportunities.
In the Educational Leader position, you will show a thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the Framework for School Age Care. You will guide educators in the development, implementation, and reflection of their educational programs and practices.
This is a great position for someone who has a passion for programme and practice as it will have lots of opportunities for professional growth including paid programming, study, training, and development. This position is ideal for a diploma-qualified educator that wants the training and support to progress in their career.
In the 2IC position, you will be responsible for the overall management and administration of the service in the absence of the Nominated Supervisor including maintaining day-to-day accounts and administrative matters. In consultation with your Centre Director, you will also be responsible for preparing, implementing, and evaluating a developmentally appropriate program for individual children or groups.
