Job summary

Guardian Childcare & Education Balmain Cove in Rozelle seeks an Educational Leader to join a supportive leadership team and drive high‑quality learning across our 72‑place centre. You will lead programming, coach educators, and guide the centre through the Quality Improvement Plan, with Thrive as our leadership framework to support seamless operation and clear career pathways.

Qualifications

• Completion of national mandatory Child Protection training via GECCKO.
• Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA.
• Current Teacher’s Accreditation/Registration (NSW, SA, VIC & WA).
• Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
• Valid Working with Children’s Check or state-specific equivalent.
• Experience in the early years sector is desirable.

The Centre:

Balmain Cove, located in the heart of Rozelle and Balmain is designed to replicate the comfort of a family-style environment. Situated close to public transport, our beautiful 72 place centre includes bright, nature-filled spaces, and a range of exciting, resource-rich environments. The centre also includes age-specific ateliers and a team of warm and passionate educators. The children get out and about on weekly excursions and enjoy great connections with the surrounding community.

Here’s what you’ll bring:

• Completion of the national mandatory Child Protection training via the GECCKO platform
• Tertiary Qualifications (University Degree or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA.
• Current Teacher’s Accreditation/ Registration (NSW, SA, VIC & WA)
• Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework
• Previous experience working in the early years sector (desirable)
• Valid Working with Children’s Check or state‑specific equivalent
