Job summary

Guardian Early Learning Group is seeking an Educational Leader to drive programming, support teaching excellence and empower teams across our Rozelle/ Balmain centres. You will contribute to continuous improvement and lead professional development across the network.

The ideal candidate brings an Early Childhood Education degree, NSW registration, and strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, with a passion for mentoring teams and delivering high-quality learning environments.

Qualifications

• Completion of tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA.
• Current Teacher’s Accreditation/Registration (NSW, SA, VIC & WA) is required.
• Experience with National Quality Framework (NQF) knowledge is essential.
• Proven experience in the early years sector is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive programming across the centre ensuring quality learning outcomes.
• Coach, mentor and develop educators to support best practices.
• Set clear goals for teaching and leading across the network.
• Contribute to the centre’s Quality Improvement Plan and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with educators to exchange ideas, foster creativity, and make a measurable impact.

The Centre:

Balmain Cove, located in the heart of Rozelle and Balmain is designed to replicate the comfort of a family-style environment. Situated close to public transport, our beautiful 72 place centre includes bright, nature-filled spaces, and a range of exciting, resource-rich environments. The centre also includes age-specific ateliers and a team of warm and passionate educators. The children get out and about on weekly excursions and enjoy great connections with the surrounding community.

Here’s what you’ll bring:

• Completion of the national mandatory Child Protection training via the GECCKO platform
• Tertiary Qualifications (University Degree or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA.
• Current Teacher’s Accreditation/ Registration (NSW, SA, VIC & WA)
• Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework
• Previous experience working in the early years sector (desirable)
• Valid Working with Children’s Check or state-specific equivalent
