Job summary

Guardian Childcare & Education Balmain Cove in Rozelle is seeking an Educational Leader to guide teaching practice and program development, enriching every child’s day. You’ll be part of a centre leadership team that values collaboration and continuous improvement.

You’ll drive the To BE Me program, empower staff through coaching and mentoring, and lead quality improvements via the centre’s plans. We offer above-award pay, extensive professional development, and a network of support.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA.
• Current Teacher’s Accreditation/ Registration (NSW, SA, VIC & WA).
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
• WWCC or state-specific equivalent.

The Centre:

Balmain Cove, located in the heart of Rozelle and Balmain is designed to replicate the comfort of a family-style environment. Situated close to public transport, our beautiful 72 place centre includes bright, nature-filled spaces, and a range of exciting, resource-rich environments. The centre also includes age-specific ateliers and a team of warm and passionate educators. The children get out and about on weekly excursions and enjoy great connections with the surrounding community.

Here’s what you’ll bring:

• Completion of the national mandatory Child Protection training via the GECCKO platform
• Tertiary Qualifications (University Degree or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA.
• Current Teacher’s Accreditation/ Registration (NSW, SA, VIC & WA)
• Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework
• Previous experience working in the early years sector (desirable)
• Valid Working with Children’s Check or state-specific equivalent
