Job summary

JB Hi-Fi Education in Mildura is seeking an ICT Support Technician as part of the JB Hi-Fi Group. This entry-level, casual role provides Level 1–2 desktop support, basic server tasks and high-quality customer service within Victorian schools.

You will join a team partnering with education institutions, with training opportunities and potential hybrid working for eligible roles. A WWCC is preferred and local deployment experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education desirable (Min Cert 4 in IT Systems Administration or similar).
• Certifications in technologies defined within the specified solution set (e.g. CCNA, CompTIA).
• Industry Certifications as determined applicable (e.g. MCSA, ACMT/AciT, ITIL).
• Victorian Working With Children Check (WWCC) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Service Desk Level 1 and Level 2 support as required (desktop, hardware, software).
• Assist Specialist Technician to complete tasks and resolve issues.
• Provide local support for the Notebooks for Teachers and Principals Program.
• Deploy system images, packaging, testing and updates in live environments.
• Contribute to technical documents for the school.
• Participate in on-site installation of hardware and software.
• Provide basic server administration tasks (password resets, printer queues, backups).
