Job summary

JB Hi-Fi Education, part of the JB Hi-Fi Group, partners with Victorian schools to place ICT Support Technicians. This entry-level role supports Level 1/2 desktop issues, basic server tasks, and deployment activities, providing first exposure to IT in an educational setting.

The position offers a pathway within a large retail technology group with hybrid working options for eligible roles and opportunities for formal training and development.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
• Curiosity towards problem solving and willing to learn IT fundamentals.
• Entry-level IT role with a readiness to support education clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide Service Desk Level 1 and 2 support for desktop, hardware and software.
• Assist in deployment of system images and on-site installations.
• Support Notebooks for Teachers and Principals program locally.
• Document technical procedures and assist in server basics like password resets.
