Job summary

UNSW is seeking an Educational Technology Specialist to connect teaching with technology across the Education portfolio. You will support the use of educational tools, configure platforms, test changes, and document processes while ensuring alignment with university standards.

You will work with educators and IT teams to pilot and scale emerging technologies, deliver training, and improve learning experiences through technology-enabled solutions across departments.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to support, guide and consult on educational technologies including web-based and media systems.
• Experience delivering high-quality training programs for academic and professional staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to academic staff on effective use of educational technologies.
• Deliver training and resources to improve staff confidence and capability (LMS, Turnitin, assessment tools).
• Coordinate operational services and collaborate with vendors to maintain platform stability and user experience.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of technology-enhanced learning.
