Job summary

UNSW is seeking an Educational Technology Specialist to join the Educational Technology Enablement team at Kensington, NSW. The role partners with academic staff to optimise technology-enabled learning experiences across platforms and tools, ensuring systems are fit for purpose and scalable.

You will piloting and scaling emerging technologies, collaborating with IT, vendors, and governance bodies to align tech use with UNSW’s educational goals, while maintaining service quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Experience supporting educational technologies and web-based edu systems.
• Ability to design and deliver high-quality training resources for staff and students.
• Strong problem-solving and autonomy in evaluating new educational technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Enhance teaching and learning through technology and guide educators in using educational tools.
• Support capability building with training, guidance and resources for staff to utilise ed tech effectively (LMS, Turnitin, assessment tools).
• Coordinate operational services and supplier collaborations to ensure platform stability and high-quality user experience.
