Job summary

UNSW IT is seeking a Technology Manager, Education Solutions, to lead the establishment, operation and continuous improvement of applications and systems across UNSW’s learning technology ecosystem.

You will shape the service and delivery model for enterprise learning technologies, guiding delivery with product-led practices, ensuring secure, reliable and scalable digital learning experiences for staff and students while collaborating with developers, technology teams and stakeholders.

• Experience working with learning management ecosystems, including the applications, integrations and services that support them.
• Strong knowledge of system development lifecycles and delivery methods, including agile and waterfall.
• Experience managing application portfolios and technology lifecycles.

As Technology Manager, Education Solutions, you will lead the establishment, operation and continuous improvement of applications and systems across UNSW’s new learning technology ecosystem.

You will help shape the service and delivery model for enterprise learning technologies, supporting a seamless, engaging and scalable digital learning experience for staff and students.

Reporting to the Head of Education Solutions, you will bring expertise in enterprise learning technology management, governance and support models. You will work with developers, technology teams and business stakeholders to align services with the University’s changing needs and guide delivery using product-led practices.

Your ability to connect technical detail with functional requirements will help ensure the learning technology ecosystem remains secure, reliable and fit for purpose.

You will also help shape how technology teams work in an educational environment. This includes improving delivery practices, supporting effective resourcing, building a high-performing culture and strengthening collaboration across UNSW.

You will bring:
