Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is hiring for permanent full-time Diploma and Cert III Educators at St Joseph's Preschool and Long Day Care in Rosebery, NSW. This role offers 76 hours per fortnight with pay between $35 and $43 per hour, in a purpose-driven not-for-profit setting.

As an Early Childhood Educator you’ll develop high-quality curriculum, build strong relationships with children and families, and support our Catholic identity and policies in a supportive,

Qualifications

• Required diploma or cert III in early childhood education.
• Current ACECQA-approved first aid certificate.
• Identify and respond to risk of harm certification.
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• Completed national child safety training (GECCKO).
• Understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality curriculum aligned to children's strengths and interests.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families and staff.
• Support the organisation's Catholic identity, policies and procedures.

Your New Role:As a qualified Early Childhood Educator, you'll play a pivotal role in the growth and development of children aged 0-6.

To Be Considered, You Must Have:

• Early Childhood Diploma Approved Qualification or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current First Aid Certificate Approved by ACECQA:Includes applying first aid, emergency asthma management, and anaphylaxis.
• Identify & Respond to Children at Risk of Harm Certificate
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO.Register GECCKO
• Practical Knowledge:Understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
