Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services Ltd (SCECS) is hiring Full-Time Diploma and Cert III Educators to support children aged 0-6 at St Joseph's Preschool and Long Day Care in Rosebery, NSW. You will contribute to high-quality curriculum development and foster strong relationships with families and staff within a Catholic community.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Early Childhood Diploma or Certificate III qualification.
• Current First Aid Certificate (ACEQCA approved).
• Identify & Respond to Children at Risk of Harm certificate.
• Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Completed GECCKO training or registered GECCKO.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.

• Developing High-Quality Curriculum to respond to children’s strengths and interests.
• Building positive relationships with children, families and team members.
• Supporting the organisation’s Catholic identity, philosophy, policies and procedures.

Contract

Permanent Full-Time 76 hours per fortnight $35 - $43ph

Your New Role

As a qualified Early Childhood Educator, you'll play a pivotal role in the growth and development of children aged 0-6.

To Be Considered, You Must Have

• Early Childhood Diploma Approved Qualification or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current First Aid Certificate Approved by ACECQA: Includes applying first aid, emergency asthma management, and anaphylaxis.
• Identify & Respond to Children at Risk of Harm Certificate
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO. Register GECCKO
• Practical Knowledge: Understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
