Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) invites applications for a Full-Time Diploma Educator to support children aged 0-6 at our Caringbah centre. Join a not-for-profit service delivering high-quality education and care in a supportive, faith-based setting.

You will implement an exceptional curriculum, foster strong relationships with families, and uphold our Catholic identity, policies and GECCKO training requirements while working Monday to Friday on a maximum-term contract to Jan

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Diploma or Certificate III required.
• Current First Aid Certificate approved by ACECQA (includes first aid, emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis).
• Identify & Respond to Children at Risk of Harm Certificate.
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• Completed mandatory GECCKO national child safety training.
• Understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.

• Develop and implement an exceptional education and care curriculum responsive to children’s strengths, interests, and needs.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues based on respect, trust and honesty.
• Actively support our organisation’s Catholic identity, philosophy, policies and procedures.

As a qualified Early Childhood Educator, you'll play a pivotal role in the growth and development of children aged 0-6.

This is a full-time Monday - Friday, maximum-term contract role until Jan 2028, covering parental leave.
