Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is seeking an Early Childhood Educator for a part-time permanent role, two days per week (Thursday and Friday). Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Current First Aid Certificate approved by ACECQA.
• Identify & Respond to Children at Risk of Harm certificate.
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• Completed mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO.
• Practical knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop a high-quality curriculum responsive to each child's strengths and interests.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with children, families and team.
• Support the organisation's Catholic identity, policies and procedures.
• Provide cost-saving childcare discounts for staff where applicable.
• Contribute to a balanced roster and positive work-life balance.
• Engage with novated leasing opportunities and EAP support as available.

Your New Role:As a qualified Early Childhood Educator, you'll play a pivotal role in the growth and development of children aged 0-6.

This is a Part-time Permanent role 2 days per week, Thursday and Friday.

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
