Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is hiring a full-time parental leave cover, Diploma educator to work in the preschool room with a minimum of 3 years' experience with this age group and potential to become permanent. Location: 77 Queen St, Auburn NSW 2144. Hours: 76 per fortnight, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Diploma is required and approved.
• Current First Aid certificate approved by ACECQA.
• Certificate to identify and respond to risk of harm.
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• Completed GECCKO child safety training.

Responsibilities

• Developing high-quality curriculum responsive to children’s strengths, interests and needs.
• Building positive relationships with children, families and your team.
• Supporting our organisation’s Catholic identity, philosophy, policies and procedures.
• Provide care and education for children aged 0–6 in a preschool setting.

• Early Childhood Diploma Approved Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current First Aid Certificate Approved by ACECQA:Includes applying first aid, emergency asthma management, and anaphylaxis.
• Identify & Respond to Children at Risk of Harm Certificate
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO. Register GECCKO
• Practical Knowledge:Understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
