Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is a not-for-profit organisation delivering high-quality education and care to children aged 0-6 across our Catholic schools and parishes. We are currently seeking an qualified Early Childhood Educator to support the growth and development of children at St Francis Xavier's Preschool & Long Day Care.

As part of a dynamic team, you will develop engaging curricula, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to our Catholic identity

Qualifications

• Must hold an Early Childhood Cert III Approved Qualification.
• Must hold a Current First Aid Certificate approved by ACECQA.
• Must hold Identify & Respond to Children at Risk of Harm Certificate.
• Must hold Valid Working with Children Check.
• Must have completed GECCKO national child safety training.
• Solid understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.

To Be Considered, You Must Have:

• Early Childhood Cert III Approved Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current First Aid Certificate Approved by ACECQA:Includes applying first aid, emergency asthma management, and anaphylaxis.
• Identify & Respond to Children at Risk of Harm Certificate
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO. Register GECCKO
• Practical Knowledge:Understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
