Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning is seeking a Casual Educator in Gladstone, QLD. You will join a flexible, team-oriented role supporting our centres and children as needed, with pay rates between $42.88 and $48.29 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Choose your hours and where you work, with comprehensive induction and training, professional development opportunities, and a supportive team. Travel between local services is expected.

Qualifications

• ACEQA approved early childhood qualification is required.
• Current QLD Working with Children Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.

Eligible employees may access discounted childcare to help balance work and family life. Casual employees may be eligible after three months of regular and consistent hours worked.

If you have an ACECQA approved early childhood qualification, a Current QLD Working with Children Check, are willing to travel between other local services and will have flexible availability between Monday-Friday, 6am - 6pm.
