Job summary

APA offers an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician Apprentice position in the Albury region. This 4-6 year program blends hands-on field work with formal training, helping you learn from experienced tradespeople while contributing to Australia's energy infrastructure.

You’ll work toward a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and Instrumentation, with fully funded TAFE fees, supplied tools, PPE, travel allowances, and ongoing mentoring, paving a long-term career path within

Qualifications

This 4-6 year apprenticeship combines hands‑on experience with formal training.
You’ll work toward a nationally recognised Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and Instrumentation.
Fully funded TAFE fees and all tools provided.

Responsibilities

Assist with planned and reactive maintenance, inspections and repairs across the region.
Learn to service, maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of equipment.
Support electrical and instrumentation work under the guidance of qualified team members.
Monitor the performance and operation of critical assets through routine inspections.
Assist with equipment upgrades, replacements and improvement projects.
Attending TAFE and successfully completing apprenticeship coursework.
