Qualifications

• Four-year apprenticeship combining hands‑on experience with formal training.
• Eligible to work in Australia.
• Open to local Newman residents from the Newman region.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planned and reactive maintenance, inspections and repairs across the region.
• Learn to service, maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of equipment.
• Support mechanical work under the guidance of qualified team members.
• Monitor the performance and operation of critical assets through routine inspections.
• Assist with equipment upgrades, replacements and improvement projects.
• Maintain easements and site facilities to a high standard.
• Attend TAFE and complete apprenticeship coursework.
• Contribute to preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
• Organise tools, parts and operational documentation for jobs.
• Assist with review and improvement of operational procedures and documentation.
• Work safely and help protect teammates, community and environment.
