APA Group is offering an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician Apprentice role in the Mount Isa region. This 4–6 year apprenticeship blends hands-on trade work with formal training, aiming to graduate you as a skilled APA Technician.

You'll work with experienced technicians on critical energy infrastructure and receive support, tools, and learning opportunities to build a long-term career in Australia's energy sector.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with planned and reactive maintenance across the Mount Isa region.
• Learn to service, maintain and troubleshoot a range of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Support electrical and instrumentation work under guidance of qualified team members.
• Contribute to preventative maintenance activities and documentation.

What you’ll be doing

Working alongside skilled technicians, you’ll gain experience across a variety of electrical, instrumentation andmaintenance activities, including:
