Job summary

Adventure Operations is seeking an analytical Online Trading Specialist to drive e-commerce performance across key brands, with a focus on MTB Direct. You’ll own day-to-day online trading, promotions and product performance, turning data into real sales results.

You’ll collaborate with Marketing and Digital teams to optimise pricing, imagery and content, monitor KPIs and deliver regular trading insights in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce, online trading, digital merchandising or a related role.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Commercially minded with an understanding of sales, margin, stock and profitability.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
• Ability to turn data into practical commercial action.
• Strong organisation and time management, with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive, problem-solving approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily trading: Manage the website's trading performance, monitoring sales and KPIs.
• Identify trading opportunities to maximise online sales.
• Coordinate launches, promotions, markdowns and seasonal activity.
• Ensure accurate online product presentation (pricing, imagery, content, availability).
• Review site performance to improve conversion and customer experience.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
• Prepare regular trading reports and analyse performance by product, category, promotion.
