Job summary

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Dynatrace Observability SME in Sydney to lead the enterprise observability strategy and Dynatrace implementation across hybrid/multi‑cloud environments. You will drive governance, AI-driven monitoring, and integration with ITSM and CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in observability/SRE, 3–5+ years Dynatrace experience, and Dynatrace Associate certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in monitoring/observability/SRE roles.
• 3–5+ years hands-on Dynatrace experience.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale observability implementations and migrations.
• Dynatrace certifications (Associate) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise observability strategy aligned to business KPIs (availability, MTTR, user experience).
• Lead governance with standards, policies, and best practices; drive Dynatrace implementation across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Integrate Dynatrace with ITSM, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms; promote observability-as-code using APIs, Terraform, and OpenTelemetry.
• Embed observability into DevOps/SRE lifecycle; enable AI-driven monitoring (Davis AI) for anomaly detection and RCA.
• Design scalable architecture with OneAgent, ActiveGate, and cluster setup; reduce noise and optimize alerting.
