Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of Performing Arts and responding to student needs.
• Experience planning for VTLM 2.0 and Explicit Teaching with high impact strategies.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning with data-informed feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; building collaborative relationships with students, families, colleagues and the wider school community.
• Reflective practice and commitment to ongoing professional learning to improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other teaching-related and organisational duties as required by School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Supervise and mentor student teachers; use data to inform teaching approaches.
