Job summary

Everyday Independence is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to work in Narangba across diverse settings, providing life-changing therapy to NDIS participants. You will develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans, conduct FBAs, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support goals and optimise NDIS funding.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field (Bachelor, Masters or Graduate Diploma) and registration such as the below.
• NDIS Workers Screening Check is required.
• Drivers license is required.
• Working with Children Check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work in diverse settings including homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces and community centres.
• Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies.
• Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address behavioural challenges.
• Attend weekly team meetings and engage with team leader and therapy mentor.
