Job summary

Everyday Independence in Australia is seeking an Experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to deliver life-changing therapy to NDIS participants in diverse settings, from homes to schools and community centres.

The role requires a relevant tertiary qualification and registration, with an emphasis on collaborative, person-centred care and ongoing professional development; the company offers mentoring, career pathways, and a competitive salary with benefits.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Bachelor, Masters or Graduate Diploma) with appropriate registration.
• NDIS practitioner registrations or equivalent as listed (AHPRA for OT, SPA for Speech Pathology, AASW for Social Work, etc.).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check are required.

Responsibilities

• Work across diverse settings (homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces, community centres).
• Utilise assessment and intervention skills to support participants and maximise NDIS funding.
• Build meaningful relationships with participants, families and supports.
• Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies.
• Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
• Attend weekly team meetings and receive mentorship from Team Leader and Therapy Mentor.
