Job summary

Panthers Bathurst is seeking a Duty Manager to lead club operations and deliver outstanding service to members and guests. You will coordinate across departments, mentor staff, and ensure a safe, clean environment while upholding policy standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy hospitality setting. Applicants with RSA/RCG and First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a high volume, fast paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong shift management and customer service abilities.
• Ability to handle complex situations and make effective business decisions.
• High standard of personal grooming.
• Current RSA/RCG and First Aid qualifications.
• Completion of a Clubs NSW Management course or Certificate IV in Hospitality Management would be highly regarded or willing to complete.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day club operations.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and management reports.
• Ensure the comfort and wellbeing of members and guests.
• Adhere to Panthers policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
• Direct, lead and monitor staff on shift and maximise productivity.
• Ensure cohesion of the various departments.
• Resolve customer complaints and conflicts.
• Comply with WHS principles and legislation.

Bathurst Panthers have an exciting opportunity for a dedicatedleader and customer focused professional to work as a Duty Managerin their vibrant and busy club.

About the role:

We are currently seeking a dynamic leader to take on the ultimate role in club operational management at our prestigiousBathurst Club. We are looking for a customer service professionalwho can coordinate club operations from the various departments ofthe club to ensure our members and guests are our number onepriority. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a hands‑onleader, and will direct and mentor the team to ensure customers areattended to with efficient, responsible and friendly service whilstmaintaining a clean and safe environment.

As a Duty Manager:

• Managing the day-to-day business of the club;
• Daily cash reconciliation, processing and completing managementreports;
• Ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of members and guests;
• Adhering to Panthers policies, procedures and legislativerequirements;
• Managing staff on shift including directing, leading andmonitoring staff productivity and performance;
• Ensuring the success and cohesion of the variousdepartments;
• Managing conflict resolution and customer complaints and;
• Complying WHS principles and legislation.

About you:
