Panthers Port Macquarie is seeking a friendly and energetic Customer Service Attendant to deliver exceptional service across bar, café, gaming, functions and events. You will handle POS transactions and cash, assist with food and beverage service, and contribute to smooth venue operations in a busy hospitality setting.

The role requires excellent communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently or with others.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a busy hospitality environment.
• RSA and RCG certifications or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to members and guests across bar, café, gaming and events.
• Process POS transactions and handle cash accurately.
• Provide barista and food service, including meal service and stock replenishment.
• Assist with functions and events and maintain cleanliness and presentation.
• Support operations and be flexible across shifts and areas.

The Opportunity

As a Customer Service Attendant at Port Macquarie Panthers, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our members and guests. Working across a variety of areas including bar, café, gaming, functions and events, you’ll deliver exceptional service while assisting with food and beverage service, cash handling and day-to-day venue operations. This is a great opportunity for a friendly and energetic team player who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy hospitality environment and takes pride in creating positive customer experiences.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering exceptional customer service to members and guests
• Processing POS transactions and cash handling
• Providing bar and café service, including barista duties, food preparation and meal service
• Completing stock replenishment and glass collection
• Performing gaming duties, including cash desk, TAB and Keno
• Assisting with functions and events
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Supporting general operations and working flexibly across different areas and shifts as required.

You are someone who is friendly, motivated and enjoys creating positive experiences for others. You’ll also bring:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Confidence working independently and alongside others
• The ability to remain calm, adaptable and solutions-focused in a busy environment;
• Professional presentation and grooming
• Current RSA and RCG or willingness to obtain
• Confidence handling cash accurately
• Basic computer skills
