Job summary

The Woolshed Inn in Bordertown is seeking a Duty Manager with gaming experience to lead our team across the gaming room, bar and bistro. You’ll supervise shifts, handle cash, deliver friendly service and foster a welcoming environment.

RSA and Advanced Gaming qualifications are essential; an RP badge is advantageous. You should have at least two years’ gaming experience, be able to work weekends and late nights, and enjoy building a great team culture.

Qualifications

• Current RSA and Advanced Gaming qualifications — essential.
• RP badge is advantageous.
• Minimum of two years’ gaming experience is highly regarded.
• Ability to work independently and support the team during busy services.
• Rotating roster including weekends and late nights.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations across the gaming room, TAB, lotteries, bar and bistro.
• Lead by example, providing guidance and support to the team during each shift.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Build positive relationships with team, locals and visitors.
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist at the bar when required.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Duty Manager | Woolshed Inn, Bordertown

We’re looking for an experiencedDuty Manager with gaming experience to join the team at theWoolshed Inn in Bordertown.

If you enjoy leading a team, getting to know the locals and delivering friendly, welcoming service, we’d love to hear from you!

• Up to 20-25 hours per week, with the potential for full-time employment in the future for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations across the gaming room, TAB, lotteries, bar and bistro;
• Lead by example, providing guidance and support to the team throughout each shift;
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly;
• Build positive relationships with team members, locals and visitors;
• Deliver excellent customer service and lend a hand across the bar when required; and
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests and staff.

About You

You’re a confident, approachable hospitality professional who enjoys taking responsibility and being part of a team.

You’ll bring:

• Current RSA and Advanced Gaming qualifications — essential;
• An RP badge — advantageous;
• A minimum of two years’ gaming experience — highly regarded;
