Job summary

The Glenmore Hotel in The Rocks, Sydney, is seeking a hands-on Duty Manager to join our management team and lead day-to-day operations of this high-volume venue.

You will manage shifts, coach the team, ensure guest satisfaction, handle guest feedback, and maintain RSA, WHS, and venue standards while delivering a consistent, guest-focused service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Duty Manager or Supervisor in a busy pub, bar or hospitality venue.
• Confidence leading a team and taking ownership of a shift.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Hands-on approach – you’re happiest on the floor with your team.
• Ability to stay calm and make good decisions when things get busy.
• Genuine focus on providing great customer experiences.
• Desire to learn, develop and progress your hospitality career.
• Current NSW RSA.

The Glenmore is one of Sydney’s most iconic pubs, sitting in the heart of The Rocks with one of the city’s best‑known rooftop bars and some of the best views in Sydney.

We’re looking for a Duty Manager to join our management team and help lead the day‑to‑day operation of this busy, high‑volume venue.

This is a hands‑on role and a great opportunity for an experienced Duty Manager, or a strong hospitality supervisor ready to take the next step into management.

The Role

As Duty Manager, you’ll be part of the venue management team, working closely with our General Manager and senior managers to deliver great service and keep the venue running smoothly.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Running shifts and leading the team through busy services
