Job summary

Australian Venue Co. is seeking a motivated Duty Manager for Reef Gateway Hotel in Airlie Beach. This hands-on leadership role involves leading shifts, developing your team, and gaining exposure to all aspects of venue operations.

You will work closely with the Venue Manager, ensuring great guest experiences, with RSA, RSG, approved manager licence and CLO (or willingness) required. Nights and weekends work, with strong team culture and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality or customer service environment.
• Strong leadership potential and team-focused approach.
• Passion for delivering great guest experiences.
• Basic understanding of cash handling and venue operations.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and manage the team on duty.
• Develop team skills and provide hands-on leadership.
• Gain exposure to all aspects of venue operations.
• Collaborate closely with the Venue Manager.
