AVC Operations Pty Limited seeks a reliable Duty Manager to lead two Mackay venues within the Australian Venue Co. network. You will manage day-to-day floor operations, guide the team on shift, and uphold guest service standards while ensuring compliance and security.

This role suits hospitality leaders who thrive on variety, remain calm under pressure, and are committed to building a long-term career with a growing venue group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Duty Manager or supervisory hospitality role.
• Current RSA certification.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and solutions-focused during busy periods.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and nights.
• Proactive, hands-on approach and genuine passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day floor operations.
• Lead, support and motivate the team during your shift.
• Ensure high standards of guest service, presentation and compliance.
• Manage guest feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Support cash handling, reporting and venue security procedures.
• Ensure RSA and other compliance obligations are met at all times.
• Work closely with the Venue Manager and broader leadership team.
