Job summary

Australian Venue Co. is seeking a Duty Manager to lead day-to-day floor operations at one of Mackay's favourite venues. You will supervise and motivate the team, uphold guest service standards, and ensure compliance and RSA obligations are met.

Ideal candidates will bring hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a passion for hospitality, with flexibility for weekends and night shifts. This role offers a clear path for career progression within the Australian Venue Co. group.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Duty Manager or supervisory hospitality role.
• Current RSA certificate.
• Proven leadership and strong communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and solutions-focused during busy periods.
• Flexible rotating roster including weekends and nights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day floor operations.
• Lead, support and motivate the team during your shift.
• Ensure high standards of guest service, presentation and compliance.
• Manage guest feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Support cash handling, reporting and venue security procedures.
• Ensure RSA and other compliance obligations are met at all times.
• Work closely with the Venue Manager and broader leadership team.
