Job summary

Cruise Bar in Sydney is a vibrant licensed venue offering three levels, including Melba's on the rooftop, and Cruise Bar & Restaurant across the lower two floors with panoramic views of Circular Quay and the Opera House.

The Duty Manager role is hands-on and fast-paced, focused on coaching a high-performing team, driving exceptional guest service, and ensuring safety and compliance across the venue.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a Duty Manager role.
• Experience managing a high pressure, fast-paced, high-volume bar.
• Effective communicator able to share vision with the team.
• Exceptional guest service provider with a passion for operation.
• Currently holds RSA certification and Conduct of Gambling certification.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop a high performing team.
• Deliver effective communication across the team.
• Drive extraordinary guest experience.
• Lead compliance across licensed premises.
• Support venue operations; complete and delegate action items.
• Promote safety and security of the venue and stakeholders.
• Assist and monitor rostering for all on-premise areas meeting HIGA and NES requirements.
• Provide leadership and ensure compliance across the venue.
